What is TOEFL PBT?
TOEFL PBT is a paper-based TOEFL. Even though this test is not widely used nowadays comparing to before the technology advancement, it is still conducted in some areas where technology is limited. However, the questions you would see in the forms of TOEFL are more or less the same, the different things are how you take the test and how the questions are arranged. Therefore, the practice tests on this website will not only useful for TOEFL PBT candidates but also useful for other TOEFL formats.
What and How the Tests Are Arranged on this Website
This website is now developing, so more and more practice tests will be updating daily. My first plan is to provide free TOEFL practice tests online, i.e reading, writing, listening and maybe writing later on. The listening and reading section will be in full questions form, meaning each test will have full amount question, i.e 40 questions for Grammar or Structure and 50 questions for Listening. However, the reading will not in full form, meaning it will not be 50 questions in each test like in real one. Each test will have one passage of reading and follows by 10 or 11 questions. So, you can take five tests at a time to be equivalent with real test!
The Benefits from Taking these Practice Test
As mentioned, even though it is said that this is TOEFL PBT format, it is still beneficial and will be a good practice for those who will be sitting any English language test out there, i.e IELTS, TOEFL iBT, GED, etc… The reason is that the questions which you will see in the test are more or less the same, only the arrangement of the questions are different.

What is still left out on this Website?
Currently, I do not have enough time to think of a master strategy to handle the writing section yet, i.e essay writing. I do not think that it can be done alone. I have an idea in mind that later on when we have enough members, some members will be assigned to edit an essay for the others. That way we will have a mutual benefit and produce a real learning environment because when you are contributing something; actually, you do get something in return, do not forget that! So, I will try to set up a system for that later on.
Additionally, there anyone see an opportunity like scholarship or any other interesting programs, I would like them to share it to one another on this site. I will personally look for those opportunities and also share in on this site later on after I am about to finish preparing all the practice tests. This way we will help one another!
Finally, I hope that this site will give you something in return and I also hope that you will contribute something to this website so that it will benefits others. Like a saying “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened”. I really hope that everyone of us here can be a candle!
